Everyone has their own tastes and preferences. Depending on whether you like indie stores, small shops with designer products and limited edition stuff, or mega-humongous-gigantic department stores or huge malls with thousands of stores, it is not easy to decide which is the best city to shop at: it depends on your preference and what you are looking for.

1. New York City                                                                       Best Holiday Destination In The U.S

   New York City is great for shopping. Luxury shopping lives in New York the flagship stores of many top designers lining 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue. Designer sample sales are popular with fashion lovers who want a bargain. Mainstream and national chains are also plentiful in Manhattan, particularly in SoHo, but it's best to bypass those and check out the city's numerous boutiques and emporiums.

2. Chicago



     There's no doubt that Chicago is indeed one of the cities to shop it has mega stores, such as Magnificent Mile, along with amazing boutiques at The Loop & State Street, and antique stores at Wicker Park. The 13-block stretch of North Michigan Avenue known as The Magnificent Mile. Everything from high-end and mainstream department stores and jewelers attracts visitors to this mile-long shopping boulevard.

3. Los Angeles


    No one would doubt this is a fantastic place to shop. L.A.offers an eclectic mix of shopping possibilities. Hit hip Robertson Boulevard, upscale Rodeo Drive, quirky Melrose Avenue or delve deeper and unearth bargains in the Fashion District or Farmers Market. The city is also  a top eco-conscious shopping spot, with crops of green retails sprouting.
 
4. San Francisco

    San Francisco has a pretty high sales tax rate,one of the highest in the United States. Yet, this city features every usual chain, next to high-end shops around Union Square, indie boutiques, vintage shops, second-hand stores and mega-stores as well. San Francisco is always a good option for shopping, and its sale tax is lower than New York's.

5. Houston


     houston is not only the biggest city in Texas, but it's also the best city to go shopping in the Lonestar State. Houston is also home to the Houston Galleria, the largest mall in Texas.
